WHAT: Will provide the keynote address, titled, “Recruitment & Technology – The Journey So Far,” at the Association for Co-operative Education’s ACE Symposium 2013.

DETAILS: The Association for Co-operative Education (ACE) aims to promote co-operative education to both employers and students, while providing support for co-op practitioners. For its 2013 Symposium, ACE will present attendees with useful information to help them interpret the rapidly changing landscape of digital media and its increasing role in student recruitment. With the theme of “Digital Media and Student Recruitment,” the symposium will enable attendees to connect with delegates from all major industries, as well as co-op practitioners, employers and students affiliated with 17 leading universities, colleges and institutes from around the British Columbia and Yukon region.

During his keynote, David Spector, global head of Mobile for TMP Worldwide Advertising & Communications, LLC, will explore the relationship between recruitment and technology. He will also address the impact that mobile, social media and technological innovation in general continue to have on the relationship between employers, schools and students. In addition, Spector will share best practices on how employers can enhance their student recruiting efforts to ensure they connect with the next generation of great talent.
