Today organizations face many challenges when considering the best way to source candidates widely and effectively. This is particularly true in China where the "war for talent" increases in intensity daily, with severe pipeline shortages and stiff competition. As the number people online continues to explode and career-focused websites become prevalent in China, leveraging the most effective tools and navigating sourcing channels becomes increasingly more difficult. It's often the case that recruiters need new skill sets.

These are the concerns the IBM Greater China Talent Acquisition team faced when they asked TMP to develop and conduct a Strategic Sourcing Workshop. The two day, digital workshop was held on February 20-21 in Beijing and focused on skill building, world class sourcing solutions, and local/global best practices. The discussions allowed participants to get a better understanding of a variety of topics that included: The Importance of Talent to Our Future, Creating a Roadmap of Sourcing Strategy, What Experienced Candidates in China need?, and Identifying and Communicating Your Brand.
