Earlier this month, TMP attended the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration's (ASHHRA) Annual Conference and Exposition. The industry's premier event offered opportunities to meet new colleagues, see old friends, learn the latest industry practices, look at future trends in healthcare, and of course, have a great time.

TMP made the most of the event, exhibiting in an 8 x 10 booth where we showed off our digital side in an original presentation on a plasma TV. Because we're ROI's biggest advocates, we made sure to setup a separate survey kiosk where the attendees' expectations and thoughts on how our offerings could meet their needs were recorded for analysis.

The event was a huge success for exhibitors like TMP and the HR professionals in attendance. It gave everyone a unique opportunity to mingle and exchange ideas, expectations for the future and insights on the healthcare recruitment landscape, as well as just enjoy themselves. ASHHRA knows a thing or two about bringing people together. Since 1964, they've been the nation's only membership organization exclusively dedicated to meeting the professional needs of human resource leaders in healthcare. Today they represent more than 3,100 human resources professionals across the nation.

Sheila Spinner of TMP sums up what is at the core of the success of the ASHHRA event: "The event was successful not only because we got to meet people that we may have talked to on the phone, but also because everyone attending gained exposure while supporting the healthcare industry." Also important, Sheila adds, is that "the show is always held in a fun place, which gives you a chance to get to know your colleagues and clients in a more social setting, and that deepens relationships."

Organizations like ASHHRA are important to TMP, as a proven leader in the healthcare industry with a significant commitment to the healthcare market. Our senior-level managers have substantial experience in the most critical areas of healthcare - specifically the patient-care environment.
